At 0849 hours, Engine 7-4-2 responded with a crew of seven to Bair Road to assist Station 7-1 with a possible house on fire.

Fire Police Captain 7-4-1 arrived first on scene to find fire venting out the first floor window of the dwelling. Engine 7-1-2 arrived to confirm a working fire on the alpha side and took Command 7-1.

Engine 7-4-2 arrived a couple minutes later and was given the assignment to pull a second hand-line and assist with interior operations. The rest of the engines crew threw ground ladders and ventilation.

The fire was knocked down within minutes. Crews worked on the 7-1 assignment for about two hours before being released.
