Just before the morning commute, Rescue Engine 74-1 along with Company 7-11 and Chief 74-3 (Kline) was alerted to 283 EB for a possible car fire.

RE 74-1 and Chief 74-3 responded and advised of multiple calls of a working car fire.

Units arrived to find one car along the highway fully involved. Crews quickly extinguished the fire.

Units on the highway box cleared the scene about twenty minutes later.
