At 1050 hours, Company 74 was called out to Newville Road along with Companies 71 and 75 for a possible chimney fire.

Engine 742 arrived to find a 2 1/2 story, single family dwelling, with homeowners on the roof with a garden hose attempting to control the fire.

Crews checked the interior for extension, found none. Crews operated on the assignment for about 30 minutes before being released.
